Macintosh Browser Smackdown

Macintosh Browser Smackdown at Ars technica is a great overview of the many browser choices available for Mac OS X. The article lists comparisons of speed and standards support among other things. I like the conclusion that the browser we all would love to use is the fictional Frankenbroswer 1.0, the monster browser with the following features:

Mozilla’s standards compliance
OmniWeb’s user interface and appearance
Safari’s bookmark bar, tab implementation, and integration with .Mac
Camino’s speed
Opera’s control over preferences
Internet Explorer’s market share

Until Frankenbrowser is released, there’s Mozilla 1.5 beta ;).
